Victain's Meal Planner is developed by Victain LTD. This policy explains how your data is handled when you use the app.
All data you enter — including meals, pantry items, shopping lists, meal plans, cook history, and personal notes — is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of this data on external servers.
Free users may see ads served by Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalisation in accordance with their own privacy policy. Premium users see no ads.
The one-time Premium upgrade is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment information.
Premium users can attach photos to meals. The app will request permission to access your camera and photo library only when you choose to add a photo. Photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers or any third party.
The app uses your device's local storage (AsyncStorage) to save your data between sessions. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to export a backup yourself.
The app uses local notifications to alert you when your cooking timer has finished. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and no data is sent to external servers. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
The app allows you to share shopping lists, meal plans, and recipes using your device's built-in share functionality. Sharing is entirely optional and initiated by you. We do not have access to what you share or who you share it with.
The optional backup feature exports your data as a file saved to your device. This file is never sent to us or any third party.
This app is not directed at children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
